Sweden Coins
The official currency of Sweden is termed as "Krona", also known as Swedish Crown in English as per the literal meanings. Krona is further divided into hundred smaller units termed as öre. Although all the öre coins were discontinued in 2010, the prices of goods can still be measured in öre that is rounded off to krona.
The Sweden coins were changed from time to time following historical events such as the Scandinavian Monetary Union Currency, World Wars, etc. As the coins were minted out of precious metals and featured historic designs, they were kept by the collectors.
