German Coins

Categorized into three different eras or distributions, the German coins are valuable and notable around the globe among the coin collecting community. From those minted by the German state in 1871, the coins issued and circulated between World War I and II, to those produced after 1949, every era has its particular essence seen in the coins.

The German coins circulating in the country changed from vereinsthaler to thalers and settled to euros used per date. The establishment of iron, aluminum, and zinc coins was done to cope with the circumstances put on by the wars. Therefore, these coins reflected that era.

In the 1930s, the ascendency of the Nazi state was reflected and represented by the coins produced during this era. Dealing with wars and destructions and changing the currencies, Germany undoubtedly put on some of the rarest and valuable coins that are a significant investment.
