Washington Quarters
Designed by John Flanagan, the US Washington quarters were first minted in 1932 and are the current US quarters circulated in the country. The quarters produced in 1932 replaced the Standing Liberty, and this design was followed from time to time. Still, it was changed temporarily by an eagle on the reverse to celebrate the bicentennial of the Declaration of Independence.
On the 200th birth anniversary of the United States' first president, the coin featured a portrait of President George Washington in 1732. To date, the obverse of the Washington quarters features the image of George Washington while the reverse is carved with an eagle with its wings spread and is standing on a bunch of arrows on top of two olive sprays.
The Mint and Mint Mark that mints these US Washington 25-cent coins are located in Denver, San Francisco, and Philadelphia. Carved with exceptional history reflection and commemoration to the president, these coins are circulated and collected with pride.
