Cinderella Stamps

Last Updated: Jul 30, 2023

Cinderella stamps are the stamps that resemble the postage stamps, yet the government postal administration does not issue them for postal purposes. These stamps are named after the fairytale because the main character was considered inferior. Thus, the Cinderella stamps are low than the postage stamps.

These stamps were usually produced for promotional purposes by businesses, churches, and non-profit organizations. Various Cinderella stamps can be found, including poster stamps, railway stamps, charity labels, propaganda labels, telegraph stamps, commemorative stickers, and many more.

Although the Cinderella stamps are commonly produced, some are made in a small quantity and are less known; thus, they are referred to as rare ones. Even though rare, most of these stamps are not valuable, yet they have a great following among the stamp collectors who collect these stamps solely for amusement purposes.
